Our Mission

HerStory Ensemble LLC is an advocacy and empowerment community-based organization comprised of women who have the lived experience of homelessness and are at risk of homelessness. We are the only community-based organization in Delaware primarily focused on and at the forefront of developing and promoting legislation to support people experiencing homelessness, comprised of and led by people with the lived experience of homelessness. Our work is done in community across the State of Delaware, and in Washington, D.C. in collaboration with community, state, and national groups and organizations working to end homelessness. We believe in and promote the economic and social empowerment of all women, and the right to affordable, safe, and secure housing.
